Pictures of Angola

We parked here as we went for a short hike looking for a cave which, by the locals, was believed to contain spirits. We were explained the way, warned of the possible wrath of the spirits and set off (without the locals). We never found the cave but I lost my sunglasses. We distributed the tasks, the men (including me, a 13 years old 'man') walked in the forrest between the river and the hillside, while women and children spent some time waiting and looking at the locals washing and cleaning clothes in the river. I heard afterwards that women used the north side of the river while men used the south side - an understanding our party reached after several distrustful, perhaps angry, stares from local men; we stationed our women by the southern banks.
